Bio

Mr. Coleman is a 1986 graduate of Florida State University and a 1983 Graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

Mr. Coleman enjoyed 25 years of professional experience as an Architectural Designer and Draftsman while running his own company in Tallahassee, Florida.  He designed many homes over the years for many satisfied clients.  In February, 2010, one of Mr. Coleman's designs - The Drew House - was featured in Southern Living magazine.  The Drew House is loacated in Oak Grove Plantation in Tallahassee.

Mr. Coleman entered the teaching profession after his wife Lyn passed away.  She was a much loved paraprofessional at Eastside Elementary School in Cairo.  Mr. Coleman's four children have all attended Grady County schools, three of which are already Syrupmaker alumni.  The youngest will join their ranks with the Class of 2016.

Mr. Coleman is married to Kerry Ann Coleman.  Kerry is a Real Estate Broker in Cairo and and owns and operates Cairo Realty Company.  Before becoming a Realtor in 2005, she was a paraproffesional at Eastside Elementary School in Cairo.  Kerry's children, Andy and Tiffany, are graduates of Cairo High School.

Mr. Coleman was born in Orlando, FL and spent his elementary and secondary school years in the Atlanta area living in Tucker, Mountain Park, and Conyers.  Mr. Coleman moved to Tallahassee, FL his senior year in High School and graduated from Leon High.  He enjoyed athletics and played Football, Basketball, and Baseball during his high school career.
